Ariyana grew up in the Chicagoland area. While in college, she saw the gospel lived out by two of her college friends, and not long after, she decided to follow Christ while visiting a church that met on the campus of the University of Illinois at Chicago. Ariyana graduated from the University of Illinois at Chicago with a degree in kinesiology/sports medicine and worked as an athletic trainer for seven years. In 2020, she completed her master’s degree in social work from the University of Memphis and became an LMSW in 2024.

Ariyana moved to Memphis in 2008 to join the staff of Downline Ministries. She served as the women's director for the Emerging Leaders program for six years. Those years shaped her heart for discipleship as she poured into women. While on staff at Downline Ministries, she began volunteering with Moriah House, the women’s recovery program of the Memphis Union Mission. As she began teaching Bible lessons to the ladies, she soon discovered her passion for ministering to women in these situations. Ariyana accepted the offer to become a counselor at Moriah House in 2014 and was promoted to executive director of Moriah House in 2019.

In January of 2024, Ariyana continued on the path that God had set and joined the staff of Fellowship Memphis Church as the Care Ministry Director and Business Administrator.

One of her greatest joys has been raising her cousin Zion since 2016, and through much prayer and guidance from the Holy Spirit, she chose to adopt her in 2022. Parenting has been the most challenging yet most fulfilling aspect of her life. In addition to parenting, she teaches at her church, conferences locally and internationally, and at the Downline Institute.

The Lord has granted her the opportunity to teach bible lessons in India, Germany, Zambia, Madagascar, and Belize. Ariyana also had the opportunity through the Kids Across America Higher Ground camp to lead and co-lead youth mission trips to Belize, the Dominican Republic, and Jamaica. One of her greatest desires is to equip the saints with the Word of God so they can make disciples of all nations.
